Numerology considers that human evolution takes place in 9-year cycles. Every year, from January 1st to December 31st (or from birthday to birthday depending on the school of thought), you go through a specific stage of this cycle, numbered from 1 to 9. Year 1 is the year of new beginnings and planting seeds. Year 9 is the year of completion, cleansing, and taking stock, before starting a new cycle the following year.
How to calculate your Personal Year?
Calculating the Personal Year is very simple. It requires three elements: your day of birth, your month of birth, and the universal calendar year for which you want to make the forecast (e.g., 2026).
The formula is: Day of Birth + Month of Birth + Universal Year. You then reduce the total until you get a single digit between 1 and 9.
1. Take the day: 14 (which reduces to: 1 + 4 = 5)
2. Take the month (July): 7
3. Reduce the universal year 2026: 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 10 (1 + 0 = 1)
4. Add the three results: 5 (day) + 7 (month) + 1 (year) = 13
5. Reduce the final total: 1 + 3 = 4
For this person, 2026 will be a Personal Year 4.
